Grand Prix 2008

The Grand Prix points awarded will be First (20), Second (15), Third (12), Fourth (9), Fifth (7), Sixth (5), Seventh (4), Eighth (3), Ninth (2), Tenth (1). In case of a tie in score in tournaments, the Grand Prix points will be shared. For the purpose of tallying Grand Prix points, a players' top 5 tournament points will be added. Gautam wins Fiji Tertiary Games title

University of the South Pacific scholar defending champion Asheesh Gautam made it back to back titles in the Fiji Tertiary Games on Friday 12th October 2007. With the tournament being peak of competition between the tertiary institutions, Gautam managed to defeat his Fiji School of Medicine finalist to claim first place.
